I have been amazed over the last few years at WHO has been able to buy a home here in America. After spending more than two decades in the real estate industry, I’d have people come to me asking counsel and advice about this and that. There were people that I’d bet big dollars would not qualify for a loan when they did. People that were not citizens bought homes. It’s amazing how much outright junk people buy into. Last week, I caught the thirty minute program on Jesus, who incidently, lives in Katy. Jesus is a 60 year old Hispanic. One of the biggest problems in organizations today and life in general is that we don’t know how to communicate with one another. There aren’t as many “differences” as we think once we’re able to communicate properly. Interestingly, the majority of our communication is non verbal! We go through the day “communicating” and don’t even know it. People READ that communication and draw conclusions that aren’t valid and all of a sudden, we’ve got problems Houston! In case you missed the number of zeros, it’s $3.3 TRILLION! That number is the estimated world wide loss of equities last week. To hear the analysts describe it, it was no big deal. It ws just a normal and below average expected correction. Don’t worry about it. Oh sure, unless you lost a couple of million in the disaster (or can we call it that?). Or maybe you just lost a few hundred thousand dollars.
