Three Days Of Uncertainty?
March 7, 2007
I don’t want to get too technical here or else we’ll lose ME as well as YOU. However, thre are some fundamental problems running through the stock market that says there are darker clouds on the horizon. Who likes to be a messenger of bad news? But there are some unique things going on that should be noticed. Continue Reading »

Playing Politics With Global Warming?
March 6, 2007
Will Gore take his new found fame from Hollywood and parlay it into new found political fame? I doubt it; however, there are those that are playing politics with global warming just as is done with a couple of dozen issues from whence many benefit personally. I simply do not agree that global warming is due to MAN and here is why. Continue Reading »
How Now DOW- This Week?
March 5, 2007
I’m going to stick with at least one more day on the financial markets. It’s not only big news, it affects so much of our life that we have not a clue. After surviving the worst week on Wall Street in nearly four years, investors return to face what could very well be another endurance test. With no meaningful earnings reports due and most of the relevant economic reports not expected until Friday, the week ahead is likely to bring more choppiness and few anchors. Of course what comes out of China and the Far East will give us a clue once more. Continue Reading »
Finish Every Job!
March 4, 2007
Paul put it this way, “I have fought a good fight. I have FINISHED my course…” II Tim. 4:7
We live in a world without fences: a global community! We live in a world with few boundaries: at best the lines are blurred. We live in a world of multiple options! It is therefore very easy to get caught up in the “opportunity trap”. We take on too many assignments at work. We have too many social commit- ments and not enough covenants. We have too many people tugging at us from every angle. And, with the exponential growth of knowledge in the world today, who can say NO? “He who begins too much accomplishes too little.” German Proverb Continue Reading »
A Bloody Week On Wall Street
March 3, 2007
The week from hell (or is that China?) has come and gone. It left in its wake an ugly mess The Dow managed to have one day (Wednesday) up that was sandwiched between four terrible down days. The Dow tanked 537 points for the week, 149 down for the Nasdaq, and 64 down for the S&P500. ALL the gains for the year 2007 were wiped out in four days (Dow down 191 for the year) Enough figures! What now? What’s it mean? Continue Reading »
Made In China!
March 2, 2007
I think everyone knows by now that China is the “manufacturer for the world“- literally. China has the man power and capability to produce everything the world needs produced. Walk into a Disney World shop and look at the tags- where the garments were made. By their own admission, more than 80% of the products sold by Wal-Mart are made in China. But one thing that we didn’t expect was to find that “recessions” are also made in China. The last three days, Wall Street has followed the lead that China set for the day- just not quite as drastic. Continue Reading »
Is Another Wave Coming?
March 1, 2007
The stock market was really weak in its response to Tuesday’s 416 point sell off. While the Dow finished in the green, it was nothing to write home about. And early this morning as I write, news from the East is not good. And while Greenspan softened his “recession” comments fro three days ago, he didn’t do Bernanke any favors. Continue Reading »
