Be Enthusiastic
April 30, 2007
How do you explain to an 8 year old who has little interest in the DISCIPLINE of playing T-ball that all things being EQUAL (and they hardly ever are) that the difference in his playing versus another boy is how much zeal or enthusiasm he shows the coach. Guess what. It doesn’t stop with the eight year old laying T-ball. Enthusiasm will serve us all the way through life. In fact, it will serve us more and more the older we get because we get more and more “unexcited” as age pursues us. Continue Reading »
Impeachment Talk Revisited
April 29, 2007
Dick Morris said that the Democrtas would investigate, investigate, and investigate some more if they won the 2006 elections. And if all else failed, they would try impeachment. With Bush shooting down their war plans (not having a war or a plan other than surrender and getting the hell out of Iraq), the impeachment words is no resurfacing as a “threat” to try and intimidate Bush into some sort of compromise. Who wants what? Continue Reading »
It’s Bush Veto Time!
April 26, 2007
Both the Senate’s Harry Reid and the Houses’s Nancy Pelosi paraded before cameras and implored Bush to approve their compromise defeat in Iraq bill. Obama even got his prime time image in the press with the statement that all that was needed to pull out of Iraq was ONE SIGNATURE. I wonder how long his PR people have been working on that line? But guess what! Continue Reading »
Goodbye & Good Riddance
April 25, 2007
It’s a mixed funeral that’s being observed in Russia today. Bush # 41 and Bill Clinton are there to represent the United States. A sombre-looking Clinton, one half of what was known for its public banter and bonhomie as “the Bill and Boris show”, stooped to put his right arm around Naina’s shoulder, pulling her tightly towards him and then patting her gently on the back. Be A Visionary!
April 24, 2007
Most people feel that being a visionary is something that is done only by the elite: the corporate CEO’s and the Chairman of the board. Granted, the responsibility for running their individual corporation makes demands of them that it doesn’t of the workers; however , each of us is a corporation! Each individual is put in charge of their life and they are responsible for what they do WITH it and how they IMPACT others that they touch. “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Proverbs 29:18 Continue Reading »
The Hill & Bill Show?
April 22, 2007
I can’t imagine what news media hype we would have if Hillary wins the nomination and presidency in 2008. Can you imagine four years of the Hill and Bill show? Hillary would be smashing her enemies and the right wing conspiracies here at home and Bill would be off globe trotting tasting the fine cultures abroad- if you get my drift! Once elected, Hill would have little or nothing to do with Bill unless it was for their political power benefit. Continue Reading »
Bill Gives His Views
April 20, 2007
Bill Clinton was on Larry King last night and he’s changed his thoughts on Hillary as the new president. He’s gone from she’s a sure thing to maybe it will be a tough battle. Interesting how an Obama presidential run has turned things around. And then there’s Gore- maybe! <!–more–>
<!–adsense#article–>
Clinton specifically said, “The Democrats running for president are gifted people and they deserve to be seriously listened to, and you have got the prospect that vice president Gore might run.”
Additionally he added, “Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, would be the best president by a good long stretch, for all kinds of obvious reasons — or at least they are obvious to me. … But she also genuinely loves her job in the Senate. … So for her personally, she is going to (be) fine regardless. ”
Sound like a partial losing speech?
Be Willing To Do The Dirty Work!
April 20, 2007
It is interesting what we as children seem to carry with us and remember through life. I could not have been more than five years old when I remember cleaning out an old medal trash can that set under our sink where there was no dishwasher. It was my grandmothers house and so therefore I had even less responsibility than if I were at home. It was as yucky as anything I could imagine. I can remember doing it though because my grandmother had told me that “as you go through life, do the things that no one else wants to do and you will be PROMOTED!” And then there was this saying by some wise but anonymous person, “The best way to keep your children out of hot water is to put some dishes in it.” Continue Reading »
Declare Defeat & Come Home?
April 19, 2007
Democrats have taken the razor thin majorities that they have in the House and Senate; and the November elections as a one issue proclamation from the American people. Were it not for Republican incompetence and political scandals they would not have won the elections. Every poll showed that; however, Democrats in general and the far left specifically have taken the results to mean we should pull out of Iraq. The battle used to be over a time table. On Thursday, April 19th, that all changed! Continue Reading »
Blame Game Switch!
April 18, 2007
As a follow up to yesterday’s post, the Press actually got a “dressing-down” from the Virginia Tech Hokies for the blame they were placing on the VT president and police chief. In fact the students were more than supporting of Virginia Tech Police Chief Wendell Flinchum and their beloved president. So, now who can the press blame! Aha! It sure didn’t take long with the new revelations two days later. Continue Reading »
It’s Not A Cake Walk!
April 18, 2007
Whatever was thought in 2006, is not what things look for in April of 2007. I am talking about the chances of Hillary to win the Democratic primary running away. The first indication was the warmth that Obama has received from many on the Democratic Left! The second was the 1Q results of fund-raising results. And then we have the proverbial “hat trick“. <–more–>

Now come the latest poll results. Hey, what’s in a poll?
If you are winning, they are everything, but if you’re coming up with the short stick or trending down, polls are insignificant. Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton’s approval rating has plummeted, and a majority of Americans now have an unfavorable view of her, a new Gallup poll disclosed.
As recently as February, Clinton had a favorable rating of 58 percent. But in the new poll completed April 15, her favorable rating stood at just 45 percent, while 52 percent of respondents said they have an unfavorable view of Clinton.
“The recent decline in her image appears to be broad-based, as it is evident among most key subgroups,” Gallup noted.
The Blame Game Remains
April 17, 2007
I knew it was going to happen and I could sense it building. And it didn’t take but a couple of hours before news outlets were asking WHY? How could something like this happen on a college campus? Where were the surveillance cameras? Why didn’t the police do more? Where was the administration when you needed them? The press was off to the races to try and point the finger of blame rather than cover the magnitude of the emotional tragedy. Continue Reading »
Have The Ability To Delegate
April 16, 2007
I’ve mentioned that we all have just 168 hours in a week which means with all things being equal, we’re all EQUAL! Duh! What makes us different? What gives us the ability to get ahead and do spectacular things is our ability to get others to work FOR US! If I can get someone else to give me a good 40 hour work week, I’ve now increased my capability from 168 to 208! IF I can get ten people to join ranks and work for me, I’ve now moved to 568 hours. You can do the math on 100 and 1000! “No man is able of himself alone to do all things.” Homer

Back Up And Running?
April 16, 2007
The Dow took a big hit last month as you’ll remember, tanking more than 700 points to the 11,950 level. I then rallied to the 12,500 level before falling again to around 12,300. Friday, the Dow closed at 12,612 and everyone is looking for a NEW HIGH in the Dow. Whatever happened a few weeks ago was just a blip on the financial engines of America. We’re off to the races again. Or, are we? Investors seem to think so and the VIX (an index of volatility and risk) is so low it can’t go much lower (12.20) Continue Reading »
