A New War Is Inevitable
June 12, 2007
Okay, so the Democrats would end the war in Iraq if they are elected to the Executive Branch in 2008. But the Middle East is a ticking time bomb ready to explode at any minute. And neither Russia, China, or Iran is going to sit by and just watch. And regradless of who controls the White House, neither is America. The truth is that winning the White House isn’t about what who would do with war but who gets to run the American culture here at home. Continue Reading »
Democrats Will End The War!
June 11, 2007
If America wants to see an end to the “Bush War“, all they have to do is elect anyone of the near dozen running. Elect a Democrat in 2008 and end the Bush War(s). Ah, but the immediate pull out of troops could be a very costly event both in the short term and in the long haul. Ending the war, or running from it as the anti-American segment of the world will see it, will only embolden them to press the fight elsewhere- can you say here in America? Continue Reading »
Forgetdaboutdit Bush!
June 9, 2007
It’s simply NOT going to happen. Is ther going to be a Bush #43 legacy that is GOOD? Only time will tell, and that’s probably a long, long time away. However, if there is one, it’s not going to be on the immigration front. Like with Iraq, I think< Bush is on the wrong end of the stick. The American public wants ENFORCEMENT first and then some sort of guest worker or amnesty format. ENFORCE FIRST! Continue Reading »
3 Days – 400 Points Down For The Dow
June 7, 2007
Wall Street fell sharply for a third straight session Thursday after rising bond yields deflated hopes for an interest rate cut later in the year. The Dow Jones industrials fell nearly 200 points and the S&P 500 index fell below the 1,500 mark. The Dow fell 198.94, or 1.5%, to 13,266.73, bringing its three-day loss to more than 400 points. The Big Abandonment!
June 5, 2007
All the Republican hopefuls met in Manchester, New Hampshire Tuesday evening and they unloaded on #43. There are lame ducks and then there are party pinatas- Republican party pinatas. Everyone had something to say about George Bush and none of it was good. Here’s a couple of examples. Continue Reading »
It Is Inevitable
June 3, 2007
The debate now rages on just how serious was the JFK plot? Was this a really serious bust or just some prank thinking something that was way over his head. You’ll get a little from both sides depending upon the philosophical-political bias of the news service. It’s obvious that we have creted many enemies over the years and Bush particularly has added greatly to the mix. Is there anyone who thinks an attack on our shores is not a possibility? Maybe a sure thing? Continue Reading »
Train Your Replacement
June 3, 2007
We are NOT alone! You’ve heard that line before but we act like it’s just that: a “line”. We are all in this together and it has been built upon the shoulders of those who went before: usually the ones that we are putting down for one reason or another. One day we will hand off the proverbial “baton” and while that is very important, what we’re “handing off” now is just as important. Maybe more so. Why is it that so many people wait until they are dead to pass on some of the inheritance? I want to SEE and EXPERIENCE those around me getting some of the “spoils” before I pass on so I can enjoy it. Continue Reading »
Hill Country
June 2, 2007
I am in the Hill Country from Thursday to Sunday evening contemplating the world with twenty one people from around the world. I’ve made a new friend in Susie. She’s a local deer, among dozens that come by to say hello in the morning and evening after I return from the day’s discussions and thoughts. It’s a different world eight miles north of Boerne, Texas. Much diffrent!
