Super Delegates Debate

March 19, 2008

As things get more and more nasty for Obama and Hillary, many of the super delegates are on the fence and getting a nit edgy. The super delegate debate is growing more and more intense even though the Democratic Convention is still five months away. How many tens of thouands of dollaes will be needed to determine a winner and will there even be one before June? How much damage will have been done to their two candiates by then? Deep Underground Military Bases

March 19, 2008

How about a little conspiracy theory and some truth mixed in for good measure? If NASA did detect a brown dwarf in 1992 and 2004 but has remained silent about it (can you say Planet X?), do you think they would be doing nothing about it? Our numerous satellite launches and placement of giant telescopes that coincide with the approximate location of this monster go hand in hand with the deep undergound military bases (DUMBs). Stock Market Game

March 19, 2008

Fewer and fewer people are in the stock market game, just like more and more people are having their homes foreclosed. Brokers want YOUR MONEY. Stock brokers make money when you buy and sell stocks. The story line, the stock market game is that you can make money when the market is going up and you can make money when the market is going down. Yes, and miracles happen- every now and then! Inflation Rates

March 18, 2008

Wholesale prices rose again in February as another hefty increase in energy costs. You know the cost of living is going up fast every time you go to fill up your car. Putting $5 or $10 in at a time barely lasts a day now. And then when you go to buy groceries, you’re tapped out. Is there any wonder people are having their homes foreclosed? People have to get to work and eat. Those are priorities that are higher than living in a 3-4,000 sq. ft. home! Continue Reading »

State Of The Nation!

March 18, 2008

America has a choice going forward and never were those two choices more clear than that which came out of New York and Philadelpiha on Tuesday. A governor (Eliot Spitzer) is removed because of his use of call girls while attacking those in the prostitution industry to which he himself indulged, was replaced by the Lt. Governor who admitted that he and his wife both had “affairs” a few years ago. And then there was the hope for our nation as evidenced by Barack Obama’s speech in Phildelphia- a case for a more perfected state of the nation. Continue Reading »

Interest Rates

March 18, 2008

The Fed announced a surprising Sunday night drop in interest rates- a 25 basis point drop. They did that tyo hopefully keep the markets from tanking after the Bear Stearns news. It worked for a day. The Fed meets today and the only question is how much further will they reduce interest rates. Will it be 50 basis points or more? Continue Reading »

Guilt By Association?

March 18, 2008

They say that birds of a feather flock together. I’ve told my kids that when I’ve seen them running with people that I felt they should not. But how far can we take this addage of “guilt by association”? Am I tarred and feathered by every relationship I’ve ever had in the past? Can I be with someone who has some bad points? And who is it that is perfect that any of us could run with to start with? Give me a break! Continue Reading »

Back Of The Bus!

March 18, 2008

The first black president’s wife is finding it tough going on the presidential trail. I’m talking about Hillary Clinton of course. Offering Obama the Vice President slot on a “dream ticket” when she is running second is reminds the black community of the white man offering them the back of the bus while they take the front seats. These perceptions should have been understood, especially by the wife of the first black president. Continue Reading »

McCain In Baghdad!

March 17, 2008

While Hillary and Obama duke it out here in America and fight over who would be best at answering the RED PHONE, John McCain is taking the call and made the trip to Baghdad. How sweet it must be to have the party nomination all locked up. How sweet to be milking the donors and resting from the battles of primary politics. How sweet indeed. Just ask John McCain in Baghdad! Continue Reading »

Collective Consciousness

March 16, 2008

Collective unconscious is a term of analytical psychology originally coined by Carl Jung. While Freud did not distinguish between an “individual psychology” and a “collective psychology”, Jung distinguished the collective unconscious from the personal unconscious particular to each human being. But, what about the collective consciousness? Continue Reading »

Bear Stearns

March 16, 2008

The worst financial situation since WWI or the worst since the Great Depression? The pot (Bush) called the kettle (Bill Clinton) a runaway econonmy that culminated in the 2000-2002 economic mess. Now who’s got the mess and how much worse is it? Much worse, Bear Stearns whose stock closed last week at $30 a share was just purchased by JPMorgan for $2 a share. Can you say they were bankrupt? Continue Reading »

Democratic National Convention

March 16, 2008

People are starting to fret opening. Will the Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton slug fest eventually wind up costing the Democrats the 2008 election? Will they steal the defeat from the jaws of victory? Is there an answer that will satisfy everyone and not wind up as a disaster at this summers Democratic National Convention? Maybe, and maybe not! Continue Reading »

Rev. Jeremiah Wright

March 15, 2008

It seems like every time you turn around one of the three top contenders for the 2008 election is having to disavow someone, or correct someone in their campaign for something that’s been said. Last week it was Geraldine Ferraro for Hillary and this weekend it is the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. And Wright will prove to be the much bigger bomb shell. Continue Reading »

God Damn America?

March 15, 2008

When the sermon came to light by Obama’s longtime pastor the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. wherein he said on three occasions, god damn America, you knew two things. First Obama had to reject such lanuagae and secondly the impact on Obama’s campaign was not going to be good no matter how one cut it. Talk about a wind-fall for Hillary. I’m sure they were sipping the champagne last night ove this story. Continue Reading »
