Wholesale prices rose again in February as another hefty increase in energy costs. You know the cost of living is going up fast every time you go to fill up your car. Putting $5 or $10 in at a time barely lasts a day now. And then when you go to buy groceries, you’re tapped out. Is there any wonder people are having their homes foreclosed? America has a choice going forward and never were those two choices more clear than that which came out of New York and Philadelpiha on Tuesday. A governor (Eliot Spitzer) is removed because of his use of call girls while attacking those in the prostitution industry to which he himself indulged, was replaced by the Lt. Governor who admitted that he and his wife both had “affairs” a few years ago. The Fed announced a surprising Sunday night drop in interest rates- a 25 basis point drop. They did that tyo hopefully keep the markets from tanking after the Bear Stearns news. It worked for a day. When the sermon came to light by Obama’s longtime pastor the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. wherein he said on three occasions, god damn America, you knew two things. First Obama had to reject such lanuagae and secondly the impact on Obama’s campaign was not going to be good no matter how one cut it. Talk about a wind-fall for Hillary.
