Living A Lie?
May 23, 2008
There’s not just one lie, but many; however, I want to address what I see as a major archtypical belief that scientists and most of humanity have been believing for 300+ years. We experienced a mini-axial age window in the 17th century when Newton reformed and changed how the world and universe was viewed- even though the church refused the scientific accomplishments. Texas Family Law
May 23, 2008
I’ve heard some real horror stories about Houston’s infamous family law court so I am not surprised that a state appeals court Thursday said authorities had no right to seize more than 440 children in a raid on the splinter group’s compound last month. Unfortunately Texas family law courts seem to think they own the children. Continue Reading »
Earth Magnetic Field
May 22, 2008
Things are happening to migrating birds, the landing of planes, and other magnetic anomalies. But, we’re too caught up in what Britney Spears did last night, who did or didn’t wear under panties, how many superdelegates Obama has, and will Bush bomb Iran’s nuclear plants or should we let Israel do it. Life is an interesting mixed bag isn’t it/ Continue Reading »
$12 A Gallon Gasoline?
May 22, 2008
You gotta be kidding me! Unless America wakes up and makes some massive changes ASAP, we’ll see quadruple a gallon gasoline- that’s $10+ per gallon. We refuse to turn our AC units up in the summer, we refuse to buy smaller cars, we refuse to build more refineries, and we refuse drilling off the coasts and in Alaska. As long as we stand pat on those issues and others, gasoline prices are going to RISE- and FAST! Continue Reading »
China Earthquake Mourning
May 21, 2008
The death toll and the missing from the massive 7.9 magnitude earthquake in China is now over 71,000 with tens of thousands missing, and more the 5,000,000 homeless. China’s government has appealed for international aid at the beginning of a three-day period of mourning for tens of thousands of people killed by a huge earthquake: an unprecedented act for China. Seismic Sensations!
May 21, 2008
More than 70,000 killed of missing and five million homeless in China due to a 7.9 earthquake. Cyclones and volcanoes in the news every week: some minor like Etna in Sicily and some major like Nargis in Burma. Common stuff or a run-up to some wild 2012 cosmic calamaties? Only time will tell. Oregon & Kentucky Primaries
May 20, 2008
The rhetoric has been flying in a special way these past few days leading up to the Oregon and Kentucky primaries. Obama is set to say that he now as a majority oif nthe pledged delegates (though shy of the needed 2,025 for the nomination). Hillary is saying that Obama can declare anything but it means nothing as she has spent all of her time in Kentucky trying to run up the popular vote. Continue Reading »
Twilight Zone?
May 20, 2008
The Twilight was an American television anthology series by its narrator and host Rod Serling. Each episode was a mixture of fantasy, science fiction, and often concluding with an unexpected twist. We are sowly, but surely, moving into just such a real life twilight zone. In football the so-called “red zone” (within 20 yards of the goal line) is very difficult. The 2012 Twilight Zone will be not so much as difficult as mind-boggling. A 2012 Final Fantasy! Continue Reading »
Global Warming & Hurricanes
May 20, 2008
It took Al Gore a few days but he eventually blamed cyclone Nargis on global wamring. Cyclone Nargis was a strong tropical cyclone that caused the deadliest natural disaster in the recorded history of Burma (aka Myanmar). The cyclone made landfall in the country on May 2, 2008, causing catastrophic destruction and at least 80,000 fatalities. Global warming? Not so fast Al! Continue Reading »
Universal Truths
May 19, 2008
We came to this physical state here on earth from a non-physical (spiritual) state. We were created even before the foundation(s) of the world. We WERE (before) and thus ARE someone that we’ve forgotten. I believe that we are on a exponential time increase to get back to “remembering” who we once were as we move to a fifth dimensional consciousness and out of the third dimensional world to which we’re accustomed, but not satisfied in. Osama bin Laden
May 18, 2008
Osama bin Laden is reported to be ready to release a new tape to the Muslim world. Does he speak for them? All of them? I am sure that George Bush will leave office with many regrets, at least I hope he does, but one of the greatest regrets has to be his inability in nearly 8 years to find, let alone kill this nemesis. Bushie still has 7+ months left to get the deed done; however, the clock is running out. Continue Reading »
China’s Olympic Mood
May 18, 2008
The CHina Olympics got off to a bad start with people trying to tackle the person carrying the Olympic flame; however, that was nothing compared to what we’re seeing now- earthquakes, tremors, after shocks, radioactive leaks, and potential floods from dams breaking, etc. Talk about China’s Olympic mood being somber! It’s more like some cosmic curse. Continue Reading »
Tomorrow Today
May 17, 2008
Nearly three decades ago I did a monthly newsletter entitled Tomorrow Today. While I am sure I had read it before I was not consciously cognizant of that verse in Eccleasiates that says, “That which has been is NOW and that which is yet to be has already been.” Say what? How does that work? Continue Reading »
Hillary Who?
May 17, 2008
The once powerful juggernaut that was invincible and had the 2008 Democratic primary locked up (a year ago) is now trying to do everything to even get a mention in the news- of any sort. Hillary Clinton is trying to muscle her way back into the political dialogue this weekend after being yanked off the stage by a verbal battle over foreign policy between GOP heavyweights and Barack Obama. Continue Reading »
