Resurrection Power
June 22, 2008
Jesus said that He was the resurrection, among many other things, but in what “sense” did He say that? It’s not written the “I”, Jesus, and the way, the door, the truth, the way, or the resurrection. I don’t see Jesus as saying that “I Jesus” Am such and such. Instead, it’s recorded that He siad I AM (is) the way. I AM (is) the resurrection. If so, the implications are immense and worth consideration. Continue Reading »
Parallel Universes?
June 20, 2008
Is this all there is? Is this as good as it gets? Is there another universe- maybe multiple universes? Is there a parallel universe or alternative reality that is a self-contained separate reality coexisting with our own. Is this what the mystics and the Bible refer to as heaven- another world that shadows ours? Is deja vu the seeing of the future because we got a glimpse of it from another world? Does anyone care? Eastern Origins
June 19, 2008
It is amazing that the Bible has kept it’s sacred and popular appeal considering what religion has done to it over the centuries. Bibliolatry remains the biggest obstacle to biggest hindrance to capturing the fullness of the Spirit from it. Secondarily, I’d put the lack of understanding of the environment-culture out of which it was written as a great peril to our receiving the spiritual messages and benefits. Continue Reading »
The Oneness Wonder!
June 19, 2008
The proto-orthodoxists may have won the day seventeen centuries ago, but the mystic message cannot be removed from life- just the Christian canon. Mystics, mysticism, and gnosticism were removed from the ultimate books of the Bible; however the Nag Hammadi find and other recent discoveries reveal a thread of living that’s mroe closely alinged to the heart and spirit of God than the Western, Paulinian pronouncements. Let me elaborate. Continue Reading »
Womb Of Creation
June 18, 2008
The Mayans looked into the heavens some 2,000+ years ago and discovered the BLACK HOLE of our universe. That’s more than amazing because it’s only been in the past century that our scientists even knew there was such a thing. The Mayans called this black hole the womb of creation because it was their thinking that’s where stars, planets, and actual universes were birthed! Continue Reading »
Jail Of Ignorance
June 18, 2008
How long must we remain captive- to or self? How long will we continue to listen to our egoic state of consciousness that always compares itself in the insatiable, losing game of trying to beat out neighbors- at everything? It’s hard to believe (or more would be doing it), but we can “imagine ourselves” into a far more different world of GOOD NEWS if we’ll but listen to the TRUE SELF. Continue Reading »
Meditative Denial?
June 17, 2008
What’s not going to happen in the various 2012 scenarios? I mean we have brown dwarfs, galactic alignments, sun spots, supervolcanos, global warming, super plasmic fields, and of course planets with no names (X). It’s obvious that the religious community can’t save us because they seldom pray and many of those who do doubt much of what they’re praying. But isn’t true meditation the art of denial of the objective, the seen, the known? Continue Reading »
Capture The Feeling
June 17, 2008
We’re told that vain repititions don’t work. The Pharisees tried it 2,000 years ago. Many Christians work it hard today because they’re taught that the “unjust judge” gave in because of constant bantering. As though one could get something truly spiritually rewarding done by power and might. Have you read Zechariah, chapter four recently? We must capture the feeling, which is done in and by the Spirit! States Of Consciousness
June 16, 2008
There so much in those words of Exodus 3:14. I AM! I AM THAT! I am that- I AM! And then Jesus reminded us that before Abraham was- I AM! And Jesus kept telling us all those things that HE WAS: I AM the truth, light, resurrection, light, way, door, and so on! But then Jesus told us of the comsummate and ultimate consciousness- the Kingdom of God! Continue Reading »
Unconditioned Consciousness!
June 15, 2008
We live in a “conditioned awareness” of the world around us. From the moment we are born, we come into various cultures (East vs. West as an example) and immediately who we once were (before the foundation of the world, with the One who created us) starts to fade from our memory. Indigo and Star Kids, just to mention two, hold on to those memories much longer. It’s what makes them so special. Continue Reading »
Napoleon Hill Said
June 14, 2008
I grew up with the Napoleon Hill mantra, “Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” The MIND is a powerful, non-local tool that’s at our disposal. And when you back it up with a strong ego, great insecurities, and a WILL that knows no boundaries- ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! This isn’t hype, I’ve been there and done that! Continue Reading »
Eastern Enigmas?
June 13, 2008
How separate we think we are, but yet, how connected ALL really is. There’s a collective consciousness on the way and it cannot be stopped for it is the TRUTH and REALITY which does set us free. East is not separate from West, nor is Christianity separate from Islam. It’s all ONE- it’s ALL GOD! There’s one God that many cultures call by many differing names. Continue Reading »
The Metaphoric Dove
June 13, 2008
Every religion has a sxtory of a flood. It’s one of the standard metaphors along with a virgin birth, captivity, deliverance, and such. The dual flood stories that are found in Genesis 6-8 in the Bible are a merger of a 1,000BCE Egyptian tale meshed with the 500BCE Babylonian story. One uses the word God in telling the story and the other uses Lord, but the message is accomplished nonetheless. Continue Reading »
Dominion & Domination
June 12, 2008
Somewhere we lost the definition and the goal of humanity. The Hebrew Testament began with the concept that we were to take dominion over the world that we were placed in. We were to be good stewards of the environment- the earth. Dominion is the ability to transcend our limitations whereas domination is a losing proposition of the egoic mind.
