Brain & Heart Dialogue
June 12, 2008
Welcome to then world of neurocardiology! The effects of stress on the heart are studied in terms of the heart’s interactions with both the peripheral nervous system, the central nervous system, and the brain. We now know the HEART is SMART! Continue Reading »
Let It Be!
June 11, 2008
I just read an article that said basically, “Don’t just sit there, do something”. Me thinks that’s one of our major problems in our society today. The BRAIN repeats the Niki slogan “Just Do It“, while the HEART simply says “Let It Be“. Do you realize how hard it is for us post-moderns, with all of our technological savvy, to let things be? It’s damn near impossible! Continue Reading »
Idiot Savants?
June 11, 2008
What a strange combination of words! Idiots for which we can closely approximate the definition, and savant which means an individual, with a developmental disorder, and one or more areas of expertise, ability or brilliance! Lately we’ve dignified the persons with the name savant syndrome. These are people who have an IQ under 25, are usually institutionalized because they can’t cloth or feed themselves. But what they can do- WOW! Continue Reading »
The Electoral Map
June 11, 2008
Hillary is still waiting in the wings, hoping that Barack will stumble out of the gate, but for now, let’s assume that Barack and John are going to the the head-bangers come this fall. As Hillary found out, you don’t win an election because you win the popular vote, but because you get the most delegates and then the most electoral votes! Continue Reading »
Paying The Fiddler!
June 10, 2008
Why do we think it strange that we’re paying $4-$5 for a gallon of gasoline? No one wants to cut back on their habits, no one wants to drive a small car (SUV power baby!), no one wants a new refinery next door, and we certainly don’t want to drill in Alaska or off our shores. Continue Reading »
Remembering Home
June 10, 2008
I think it must be more than cool to be an Indigo child, star kids, or one of the Crystalline children. There is a commonality with many of them that they still remember “some” of where they came from. They still have memories of home. Any thoughts I have of “there” are strictly intellectualized thoughts (of the Brabara Streisand, The Way We Were). Continue Reading »
Fire Walking
June 9, 2008
We can be in denial by a lot of things, but there are certain objective and real events that no amount of “excuse-making” can disavow. Firewalking, the act of walking barefoot over a bed of hot embers or stones is one such example. Many cultures have used it as a test or proof of faith. Continue Reading »
Omar Sharif
June 8, 2008
We simply don’t get it, but the truth is that there are people, hundreds of millions of people who do not want to live under a democracy. It’s more than an American arrogance to think that we have the only way of lfie, it’s an ignorance as well. More than 90% of the U.S. citizens do not have a passport! We’ve never left the “one view” of the world that’s all we know. Continue Reading »
No Limitations!”
June 7, 2008
“Everybody wants to be understood, to heard, to be loved”, or at least that’s what Josh Groban sings in the song, Don’t Give Up! There are no limitations except those that we place on ourselves and that’s not my brain, no my ego speaking. It’s a confession of who I am in the Creator of the universe of universes. God if you will. Continue Reading »
Changing Our Beliefs
June 7, 2008
There are discoveries that change our world radically and then there are changes that don’t make ablip on the radar screen of life. The year 1543 forever changed how we were to see life. The year 2006 was no big deal. Reading what Copernicus thought about our universe was major. The fact that 2,500 scientists dropped Pluto from the ranks of a planet was hardly noticed. Continue Reading »
Hillary’s Nocebo!
June 6, 2008
On Tuesday evening Hillary Clinton took the stage to congratulate Obama or having run a good race. But she and her 18,000,000 voters were going to get what they wanted! What did Hillary want? She wanted everything for every person and as president, she could deliver. She had everidently been given a sugar pill (a placebo) before going on stage that said she could still win! A Shadow Universe?
June 6, 2008
Every day something is birthed that we have little clue about. Take on April 23, 1858 as an example. A German with a long name, Max Karl Ernst Ludwig Planck, was born in Kiel, Germany. His research and findings would change the world- at least how we see the world. Much like the movie, the Matrix, what we’re seeing may or may not be the real thing- may be particle, maybe wave, both?
Welcome science to the many religions of the world.
Most religions share a common theme wherein this life that we’re now living is temporary. Our soul, our spirit man livies forever because we are part of the infinite. Our physical bodies will no longer be the receptors of the “image” that the Creator is sending, but that image does not die, nor disappear from reality, just from this third dimensional plane- and body. Seeking the truth is freeing!
Where will we manifest the WHO that we ARE?
No one knows that though all religions have word or concepts that are their answers. For Christians, it’s a word called HEAVEN! Fundamentalists have made that a physical locality somewhere out there. Less literal, others have said heaven will be a renovated earth as Isaiah. 65 and 66 allude. But, as we gain more insight and understanding to what is REAL, we come to a conclusion not too distant from David Bohm who created a language that hepled him understand and make some sense to those to whom he was conversing.
Who can you freely talk to about such things?
For Bohm, there was an implicate order and an explicate order wherein he saw our world as a shadow or the projection of events that are happening somewhere else. Back to Max! What’s going on where we “see” is also going on somewhere else- simultaneously, and faster than the speed of light. We’re talking instantly, not 186,000 miles per second!
Loose on earth that which is loosed someplace else (heaven)?
That which seemed so strange, religious, and uncomprehensible is now beginning to take form. At least what we can see through the fog of life is a shadow, a vague form, but a form nonetheless. I am not what you think or even what you physically see. I simply AM, as you ARE! And we’re united to, not separate from, our Creator and there are purposes for us both here and “over there”. All we have to do is figure out the NOW. Later will come, well, later.
A shadow universe? Yep, this one is.
Power Of Love!
June 5, 2008
Everyone knows that love (or what we think is love) will make a person do crazy, evern super human things. New found love wants to know everything about the other and hours of the day can be spent just “talking about nothing”- and is. But there’s some interesting concepts that PEAR has done that’s proven an ancient Biblical passage more than accurate. Continue Reading »
Go To Bed!
June 4, 2008
What were witnessing right now should be a great celebration for our nation. The first African-American American has been selected by a national party to be the president of these United States. Barack Obama, a total rookie by almost any standard, took on the best political machine in modern history (the Clintons), with the party in heir hip pocket, and more money than anyone thought possible. And little David (Obama) took down Goliath (the Clintonistas!). Continue Reading »
