A Forgiving Consciousness
July 11, 2008
How do you want to live life? How do you want to be perceived by others as living life? We do have that choice. Our state of consciousness is nothing more than those set of facts, ideas, opinions, and attitudes that we choose to exercise and live out. One of the most destructive states of consciousness is that of unforgiveness.
A favorite American sport in this twenty first century is that of blame-shifting- playing the blame game.
Napoleon Hill impressed upon me this statement, “Absolutely no one can escape the responsibility for the palce they find themselves in life.” I’m HERE because my state of consciousness has led me HERE. If I want to be over THERE (wherever there might be), then I have to change my state of consciousness.
One of the greatest hindrances to living life to its fullest is harboring unforgiveness.
We know when we’re not living as we should. You’re walking in unforgiveness if you shy away from people, feel a tinge of emotional anger when seeing someone, or carry on inner negative conversations adn thoughts about someone and some incident that they were a part.
Let it go! And in so doing, you free yourself to BE whatever your heart desires (within some limits of course). We were programmed before we got here as to what roles we might play. The culture, body styling (somatotyping), personality predispositions, and a host of other dependent variables hedge us in on all sides; however, none of them limit us like an unforgiving consciousness does.
Forgive, and BE FREE!
