A North Pole Shift?
May 13, 2008
There are so many different theories about what 2012 will bring us; however, one of the more popular is a pole shift within which there are numerous scenarios. Let me share one of them. But, seeing pictures today of the lightning bolts appear (at night) above and around the Chaiten volcano as seen from Chana is an erie reminder that we are such small insignificant being in a huge and pwoerful universe. Cyclone Nargis and the China earthquake are recent reminders as tens of thousands of lives were taken instantly.
History and archeological evidence reminds us that the North pole was once warm and warm areas were once cold. Of course the last ice age (disappeared 10,000 years ago) made most of the planet cold.
A shift in the North pole towards the Himalayas is one scenario. Pole wander- mantle shift, name it and calaim it.
If the events of 2012 (galactic crossing) prove themselves out as many scientists think, then we have a totally different planet. Of course the moving of the North pole as above, moves the South pole moves North and West. We wind up with a warmer Scotland and a much warmer Canada where crops can be planted.
But on the downside, the melting of the ice caps at both the Artic and Antartica means that sea level would rise by some 20 feet. And if that happens, about 60% of the world’s population must move. You thought New Orleans had a problem with Katrina? I’m not planning on moving. If the above scenario proves valid, my house will be so much closer to the beach than it is now and I’ll only be 13 feet above this new sea level.
Ah, the theories. Did I mention an inverted field reversal? Maybe next time. And this is just one of thousands of scientific probabilities around 2012. ![]()
