Biospheric Bungling!

What in the world is this and what’s whatever it is got to do with 2012? Well, maybe nothing if you’re expecting the end of the world, but then again maybe something great if you’re looking for a leap in consciousness for humanhood. Let’s break it down. The biosphere is that part of the Earth which includes the air, land, surface rocks, and water, within which life occurs, and which biotic processes in turn alter or transform. Bungling is an amateurish, awkward, inept, inexpert, maladroit, unskillful approach to something.

Who Wants Cheaper Auto Insurance?

On the negative side of the ledger, man has messed up the big time! The biospheric tragedies include releasing an incredible amount of pollution (can you say garbage) into the skies. Anyone who watched or read about the Olympic in China got a first hand cloudy view of what’s going on. Our oceans ae dying more each year with what we now scientifically call DEAD ZONES!

How sad!

And we’ve just begun to try and mess with Mother Nature by seeding the clouds, altering wind currents, and otherwise interferring with natures self-regulating systems. In essence we are trying to play God. And, we’re doing a very lousy job of it, which just might be that which allows to to begin doing a good job. Say what?

Before we became so smart, before the Enlightenment, before computers, people were in touch with NATURE and the universe wherein they lived. They had a respect, reverence, and awe for the earth. By the way, there’s no comparisons between them and the tree-huggers of today. None! The myth-based cultures of long ago were truly ONE with nature.

But, on the positive side of the ledger, we’re going to discover that our misplaced belief in exactly how far technology can go to help us isn’t very far. Mankind is going to have find the solutions within where the spirit, the consciousness that creates resides but of course is not limited. Not paying attention to the psycho-spiritual aspect of us that holds the answers to our survival will increasing growin as we get closer to 2012.

At least that’s my premise- my hope and prayer.
