Crisis Tensions Building

June 16, 2010

At some point things are going to blow. This isn’t a proclamation of doom and gloom but the reality of what is happening and really what NEEDS to happen so we can clear away the “burned stone” and start building anew. Unfortunately our nation finds itself under the headship of a President who has never been an executive and is really over his head and pay grade: and I say that with no demeaning emotional attachments. Obama is just not suited for these times!

The proofs are everywhere one looks, so let’s look at a couple examples:

1-BP Oil Crisis: The Administration accused Bush of lax disciplines in the oversight of off shore drilling and then find themselves the very culprits that allowed BP to cut corners. The Obama administration was LATE on the scene of the crime regardless of trying to rewrite history with the “we were on it from day one”.

And now the Obama administration is using this crisis (never let a good crisis go without benefitting from it) to try and push cap and trade instead of doing the job. Bringing all oil exploration in the Gulf to a STOP can kill another 120,000 jobs The action-REACTION is pathetic!

2-Arizona Immigration: Instead of doing what the government clearly has authority to do (protect the borders), Obama has instead been playing the race card (Hispanic). Instead of securing the borders, Obama is more intent on blocking the Arizona’s law which is doing that.

And now comes the word the Federal government admits it can’t secure the borders. Federal officials make 80-mile stretch of Arizona-Mexico border — including part of national wildlife refuge — a virtual no-man’s land as violence by drug smugglers run rampant. In other words, there’s a part of the United States that are like Afghanistan- no place for a human being to enter.

3-Israel: Instead of coming down on the Muslim extremists, Obama is pushing Israel to give in, give up, and otherwise take a position that’ll be their sure demise much sooner than later.

4-Finances: America is bankrupt and Obama keeps wanting to spend more money. He just doesn’t get it. This week he’s pushing for another $50 BILLION that we don’t have.

5-Socialism: Unbridled capitalism is not good, but socialism is much worse. We need to find a common ground somewhere much closer than center than the left wing entities that are running our country into the ground.

America may be past the point of recovery. Maybe! I hope not; however, I see no direction in which we are going that I am comfortable with at this time. Ay some time, and I believe in the last six months of 2010, the LID is going to blow off and I am not talking about the BOP in the Gulf!
