Doomsday Clock?
February 18, 2008
If the date December 21, 2012 says anything at all to me it is the hope and the promise that we will see a change in the world, in how we live, which means we will have to have a major change in consciousness. I don’t see the Mayan calendar, nor any of the other ancient cultures that have referred to the 2012 date as a doomday scenario- a ticking down to a doomsday clock.
It’s been we moderns who have interpreted the date as a Doomsday clock- not the ancients!
The Mayans (and others) were not doomsday cults like the Branch Davidians, the Aum Shrinri Kyo (of Japan), Heavens Gate (remember them?), nor The People’s Temple (aka Jim Jones). Their calendar simply ended on 12.21.2012. It’s we who have given interpretation(s). With so many ancient cultures fascinated with the date, what’s it really mean?
Isn’t that the question?
And aren’t these the major options- (1) It means nothing at all, (2) It points to major catastrophic happenings, (3) It is the end of the world, (4) It signals a changed life wherein we begin to live as was the original purpose. I am in the #4 camp. I also believe that #2 (Sun spot activity is for real) could come with #4.
I’ve written that I beleive we’re about to enter an Axial Age II that’s much more greatly impacting and condensed. And so I am doing all I can to try and change who I am (but am not) into who I am now not (but am). Read it again and you’ll get it.
We are simply living way below our calling- way below!
The clock is ticking but it’s not a doomday clock, it’s a Consciousness clock- and that’s GOOD NEWS!
