Global Warming Or Galactic Goings On?
February 24, 2007
It’s Academy Awards time and some savvy politicing. “An Inconvenient Truth,” the documentary about the former vice president’s crusade against global warming, is the odds-on favorite to win an Oscar. Gore plans to attend the ceremony as well as the glitzy before and after parties. Ahh how Hollywood loves politics. Just look how Hollywood has made a star out of Obama. But, back to this global warming stuff.
So, is this global warming man made? Is it some sort of regular, normal cycle that comes and goes that we’re not aware, or could it be something much bigger than we know or can handle.
Say what?
What if the “warming” had more to do with galactic forces than planetary or even solar forces. We are seeing some strange weather happenings recently. Hurricanes in Australia that seemingly are higher than a CAT 5? Snow where it doesn’t snow. Tornadoes where they’ve never been before. Increased volcanic activity everywhere. And of course thed major tsunami of Southeast Asia.
And what IF the warming was not limited to just our planet? If we could prove “heating” was going on elsewhere, would that alter our thinking? Well, try this one on for size. We’ve been monitoring the temperatures on Saturn for 18 years now and guess what. There’s been a 30% change in the surface temperature which is something that would kill all life if it occured on earth.
Does any of what’s going on have anything to do with the Mayan predictions, hundreds of years ago, of a 2012 major galactic catastrophe?
Who knows. Who cares! On with the show, on with the Academy Awards show- and more politics!
