Time Travel

July 12, 2008

We not only can do it, but we do it frequently. The manner in which we do it though is not physically; however, it can have some of the same consequences. Virtual reality is an amazing concept, but how much do we realize that what we are experiencing NOW (as Eckhart Tolle would remind us) is a product of mind travel? The principle is as old as Eccl. 3:15 and older of course.

I would IMAGINE ( a key word) that most people would give a thumbs up (approve) to the fact that we are all a product of our PAST. Thus, how I am living my life now is a result of past habits made into a mold that I live my NOW life. Napoleon Hill put it this way, “No one can escape the responsibility for the position they find themselves in today.”

There are exceptions, but let’s stick with the rules- the common ground.

Where we have to give some deeper thought is how it is that we travel through space to tomorrow, but even Jesus is said to have talked about that- mostly warned against how cautious we should be in so doing. When we move into an emotional state with vivid picturing and imaginations, for any length of time, we’re on the verge of causing that which we psychologically SEE (in the future that is not NOW) manifesting itself in our current world.

That’s why Jesus said don’t even IMAGINE what it would be like to have an affair with a person who is not your spouse, becaus if you imagine long enough, SEE yourself with this other person often enough, before long you start pulling those mental pictures into the PRESENT and before you know it, that which is yet to BE, NOW IS!

We can pull the future into the present!

The GOOD NEWS (and it really IS) is that you can apply this principle to things that embody integrity. Change your consciousness and you will change your environment. Sometimes the time travel takes months or years, but then sometimes time travel can be as fast as our computers.

Be cautious where you GO because wherever you go, there you ARE! :-)
