Winning Ugly?

March 30, 2008

Democrats are becoming increasingly worried about what will be left of the party come the August convention if all the ugly name-calling continues. While Democrats increasingly worry about winning ugly, Barack Obama was losing beautifully at a bowling lane in this central Pennsylvania city. “My economic plan is better than my bowling,” Obama told fellow bowlers Saturday evening at the Pleasant Valley Recreation Center.

As Hillary Clinton takes a day off from campaigning on Sunday, the big question surrounding the Democratic presidential candidate is whether she should stay in the race against Barack Obama. The answer depends on which Democratic official is asked. But Obama has made it clear that she should stay in!

As though she’s getting out?

Have you ever heard of a “Clinton” being a quitter? In fact Bill sent out a fund-raising letter letting everyone know that the race is, as he alled it, neck-n-neck”. Of course that was the line to get people to send in doantions. Monday is the last day of the month to raise funds. If there is a major difference in what Obama raises (as there has been), the pressure will increase to support Obama.

And if that’s the case, it will get even more ugly. Super delegates, get your hard hats on!

Clinton told The Washington Post that she is ready to take the fight all the way to the convention in August, especially since the issue of Florida and Michigan’s delegates remains unresolved. Both states were penalized by the Democratic National Committee for holding early primaries this year. Both states gave Clinton the win, although Obama’s name was not on the ballot in Michigan and neither candidate campaigned in Florida.

You’ve not seen UGLY- not yet!
