Wisdom Loves
July 15, 2008
Most Christians have read it and most religions embrace it, but few practice it- LOVE! I was recently told that an individual loved the “feel” of a group discussion he was in; however, he hated the doctrine and ideas that were posited, and therefore he would have nothing more to do with the people in the group. Huh? Say what?
Tell me how that makes sense outside of being denominationally arrogant.
Knowledge puffs up, but wisdom loves.
When you become wise you don’t have to pretend that you are someone that you are not. You don’t have to resist every idea that others offer just because they are different than yours. You respect other people’s beliefs and in fact you go a step further trying to understand their beliefs, not just tolerate them.
You also begin to accept and respect your body, your mind, and your soul.
When you surrender to the divinity and God nature that is within you, life becomes a joy. We suffer way more than we should or need to because we have been taught that we are purposed to suffer. Granted life is made up of many bad things but not nearly as many as we usually encounter.
When you become WISE your life is controlled by your HEART and not your HEAD.
Moving down that twelve inches from living in the head to living in the heart is quite a journey, but it is mroe than worth it. Where are you spending most of your time living from and just how wise do you see yourself compared to a year ago? Any changes?
I hope so! ![]()
